How to make settings same for 3 accounts--Admin, Power & Restricted, all me--home computer, so whatever changes made on one acct reflects on all others; WinXP?
On my home computer with Windows XP Pro, I want to be able to set up same settings for all 3 of accounts I use on it, namely, Admin, Power User & Restricted User (all of which are me) so that whatever additions I make on one acct are reflected on all accts. I don't expect to be able to make Admin changes while in Restricted User acct. In other words, I want to be able to set up Firefox & Thunderbird as I want them to behave as Admin, then when I go to my other safer accts (Power User, Restricted User) I don't have to recreate what has already been done in Admin acct. Also, whenever I use my safest acct, as Restricted User, I want to be able to make additions such as new bookmarks while using Firefox, & be able to download my email from pop3 server & perform usual activities, such as deleting some mail, moving other mail to archive, etc., & have all that showing exactly same whenever I am later using my Admin & Power User accts. How do I do it? I haven't found specifically how to do what I'm asking for in the Knowledge Base. Thank you for your help. I'm using Firefox 19.0.2 & Thunderbird 17.0.2.

There are two ways you can do this:
1) Firefox Sync - This will sync your bookmarks, passwords, settings, history, and tabs across all of your accounts. I'd recommend this as it's the easiest option.
2) Sync your Firefox/Thunderbird profile - This will be your only option for Thunderbird as far as I know and will make all of the instances identical. This article can explain how to accomplish this.
Most preference setting can be made via a user.js file.

Once you get your preferences set via a user.js file in one Profile, copy that file into your other Firefox Profiles.
