MyStart-by Incredibar - How do I get rid of it. I have tried resetting Firefox in all ways ad infinitum, and all the other suggestions I can find. I
For the past few months I have been trying to get rid of MyStart by Incredibar. I have reset my computer to Firefox default, I have restarted Firefox with and without addons, I have searched with windows explorer and found and removed anything with incredibar and mystart and even file extensions. I am not particularly adept at understanding all the programming that constitutes the set up of my computer but with a step by step guide I can probably clean my machine. Please will someone help me just get rid of it.

There might be some browser settings protecting program, which resets back search settings. For fully automated solution, I recommend running Adwcleaner: You might have to run anti-malware program beforehand if there is trojan protecting your mystart incredibar settings from removal.
MyStart Incredibar only seems to appear each time I try to link to the Marks and Spencer web site which in turn seems not to work on the weekend.
In order to uninstall a possibly unwanted extension, please do the following:
- From the Firefox window click the Firefox button at the top left and select Add-ons, or, if the Firefox button is not shown, click the Tools menu and click Add-ons.
- Once the Add-on Manager has opened in a new tab, click the Extensions button on the left side of the window.
- You should now see a list of your installed extensions on the right side together with buttons on the right side of each extension.
- To remove an extension from Firefox, simply click the Remove button. You should see a message that informs you about the successful removal of the add-on.
- Note that some add-ons require a Firefox restart to be removed completely. To perform a Firefox restart after the add-on removal, click the Restart now link in the message.
