I Can't Locate Firefox Profile in the Finder
I'm running Firefox 9.0.1 on my Mac OS 10.7.2 (Lion). I'm trying to locate my Firefox profile so can import the bookmarks into other web browsers I'm also trying out.
I followed the instructions in the Help section for locating my profile (http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Backing%20up%20your%20information?s=location+of+bookmarks+in+Finder&r=0&e=sph&as=s#w_locate-your-profile-folder) but, when I look in the Application Support folder, I can't find the Firefox folder.
All my bookmarks and other profile-related features are working fine within Firefox, but the folder is not located in the Finder as described in Firefox Help.
Any suggestions as to where the Profile folder could be?
Also, if I imported my Firefox bookmarks into Google Chrome, would the Firefox Profile folder be affected in any way?

For bookmarks import/export to other browser:
Exporting bookmarks to an HTML file
see also: Importing bookmarks from Google Chrome (do the opposite)
all is in the HTML file(import/export), you do not really want the profile for import/export bookmarks
"Also, if I imported my Firefox bookmarks into Google Chrome, would the Firefox Profile folder be affected in any way? " No.
thank you

In Mac OS X v10.7, the $HOME/Library folder is a hidden folder.
Open Finder and use one of these:
- Go > Go To Folder (Shift-Command-G) and in the dialog type: ~/Library
- Open the "Go" menu and hold down the Option key to make the Library appear
You can also use this command in a Terminal window to remove the hidden flag.
- Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Terminal
- chflags nohidden ~/Library

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
