whenever i use firefox as my internet choice i find that 9 out of 10 pages/sites have parts of the text from one part of the page superimposed over other parts of the text on the page. this happens all the time and it keeps me from doing things on the sites like for instance - i go to a page where i need to enter my name, address etc, and hit the enter key at the bottom of the page but i can't read it or access the enter key because text from one part of the page is superimposed over the part i need to access which keeps me from doing it.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

thank you thank you thank you!!! i just knew it was probably something simple that i was just unaware of and sure enough it was! the zoom thing i knew all about and knew that was not the problem, so i did the second option and it fixed it immediately!!! i am very grateful as google chrome SUCKS! it is constantly crashing and telling me to kill pages! if i try to do more than two things at once it overloads and dumps! i am now back to firefox and loving it all over again! thanks for answering so quickly as i was going out of my mind! i tend to have between 3-5 things going all at once and i have seldom had a problem with firefox while doing that! have a great day/nite and if i ever have another issue i know right where i will come!

kindest regards,
