I cannot open new tabs. How/where can I change the setting to allow me to open blank tabs?

Suddenly, i cannot click on the new tab "+" sign and get a blank tab to open. I have shut down Mozilla Firefox and restarted and have shut down my laptop and restarted without success. I am using v 3.6.13.

Try disabling the Ask Toolbar extension.

Disabled the Ask Toolbar extension and that fixed my issue. thanks.
