Youtube Firefox SLOW
YouTube has been so slow in Firefox. It just takes a ton of time for the video to actually play. It's just a spinning circle in a video. I can refresh several times and then it plays. I cleared my cache, history, data...etc everything from Firefox. That seemed to help for a bit. Then it just resulted back to being slow. It's just in Firefox. I played videos in Edge. It was fine. No issues. It's just FireFox. It started most recently too. It wasn't happening a week ago. I even tried going back to an old version of Firefox. Didn't help. Anyone know how to fix? Not using ad blockers either FYI. I just want videos to play normally and fast.

We know that they're sabotaging Firefox, but we've found a solution that will be introduced in version 127.0.2.
It's not our regression, so going back won't help you.

@TyDraniu , the reason why I went back to an old version is because I thought it was because of the update(s). I thought the new updates were doing something to YouTube. Obviously the problem still persists even by downloading an old version. It's really annoying.
Fix will be released on Tuesday.
TyDraniu, FYI.......That "update" didn't do crud. Youtube still lagging on playing videos. Circle continues to load and load and load. Have to refresh several times for it to play. No problem in Edge Microsoft Browser. I don't get it. Why can't they just fix it? I got no ad blockers or whatever.
It should be better, at least for recorded videos. Try to click the "Share" button below the video → Click "Embed" → Play the video that loads up.
Why is it so bad to begin with? What changed? I shouldn't have to do that extra step you are referring to. They should just play automatically like they do in Microsoft Edge. Nothing has gotten better by the way in Firefox. Still experiencing same issues
YouTube is still broken for some people with increased DNS-over-HTTPS settings.
If that's your case, please make sure you're using the latest version. Press Alt → Help → About Firefox.
After that, set DoH to Default Protection or add a temporary exception for YouTube:
Youtube is slow again. Not just the video but also trying to scroll through comments or even adding new comments or entering text in search string. It started a couple of weeks ago, but is is now nearly unusable. I presume Google is doing this to force users to use chrome again.
I updated to the most recent release. Tried testing on two different windows machines, and same exact problem.
