I recently bought a new computer, a custom build, and on firefox the above mentioned options are greyed out. I found this thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1215650

In my Profile Folder, I do not have sessionstore [v56] sessionstore.jsonlz4 file(s), though I do have the sessionstore-backups folder and it contains recovery.baklz4 and recoveryjsonlz4.

Can I just move or delete the sessionstore-backups folder?

Keep in mind that sessionstore.jsonlz4 is only present when when Firefox is closed.

Firefox doesn't create sessionstore.jsonlz4 when you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the browsing history or when you use Private Browsing mode.

I don't know what would cause "always check if firefox is your default" to be greyed out.

You can check browser.shell.checkDefaultBrowser on the about:config page to see if this preference is locked to false.

Are there policies active if you check this on the about:policies page ?
