Hi, I am hoping someone can shed the light on this and help me. I am trying to move old emails from one pc to another. I have copied the profile and pasted it to the new Pc's profile. The issue I have is, after I load thunderbird, I can see the email but once I quit and open thunderbird, all the emails disappear and I have to copy the profile again. I have clicked work offline but doesn't seem to resolve this issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I moved the thunderbird folder to another pc.

The 1st time i load thunderbird i see all my emails.

The 2nd time i see a blank page with a strange message!!

<key-id="save key" </p>

<label value=event.statusbarpanel...>

<toolbardbutton id=todaypane-new...>

I also tried backing up and restoring with mozbackup, but i still got the same message.

PS: Some people on other forums found it to be a problem with addons, but i don't have any installed.

Since i couldn't wait, I installed em client using and restored my emails using the thunderbird folder and everything works fine.
