Cannot Access Google on Firefox - Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER
This started happening this morning. I opened Firefox and tried going to google.com as usual but I got this error: http://i.imgur.com/XPn2xVW.png
I tried cleaning up my registry with CCleaner, refreshing Firefox, checking off 'Scan encrypted connections' in Kaspersky, but none of them worked.
My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

EDIT: OK, so I followed the instructions from this link: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER
And did what was said for Kaspersky and now google is loading on Firefox at last.
NOTE: When I tried these settings in my 2014 version, it didn't work. It only worked in the 2016 version.

hi, which exact version of kaspersky are you using?
Hi philipp,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I have the 2014 version of Kaspersky. 15.0.1.415(f) For more details, see this image: http://i.imgur.com/wCXprIH.png
thanks, if you are in a current subscription with kaspersky, you will be entitled to a free upgrade to the 2016 version of their product. please try to download the upgrade and see if this can change the issue: https://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/software-upgrades/
we had a very similar problem at this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1119030
Hi, I live in India so I think the US page doesn't apply to me. I'm trying to figure out how to get a free upgrade to the 2016 version. Any ideas?
it shouldn't make a difference where you live - here is the update site for kasperky india: http://www.kaspersky.co.in/product-updates
Updated my Kasperky, still no difference. Sniff.
