I have created and verified a Firefox account today on my Mac laptop (OS X El Capitan) after a fresh install of Firefox. I read all the instructions on how to set up sync on it and my android phone (Lollipop 5.0.1). Both operating systems and Firefox installations are up to date. I have followed the procedures and signed into sync on my phone as well. I have manually synched (selected sync button) on both devices, but my tabs and history are not being transferred between them at all. Both show that they have synched at the times I have attempted, but still absolutely no data exchange.

Hi abk13, Thank you for your question. I understand between a Mac and an Android device that no data has been synced between them. I am happy to help.

The tips and tricks article is a good place to start as well if you have not already seen it.

Second I might check to make sure that the manual sync on the android device is tapped from the Accounts setting in the Android Settings.

Third, see if there are any error logs in about:sync-log
