My firefox always opens with the three tabs I used when I downloaded and setup firefox. How can I get it to open only one?
When I downloaded Firefox for my new computer with Windows 10, I opened Firefox and followed the directions for setting everything up to get it to work, including verifying my email address. When I completed this process, I had 3 tabs open. I then closed Firefox.
The next time I opened Firefox, 3 tabs were open. The 2 extra were at the same places they were before I closed Firefox.
I have closed the two extra tabs before browsing several times. However, each time I open Firefox, the same tabs appear.
How do I fix this? I only want 1 tab to open.

You can find the home page setting here:
- Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page
Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.
If you do not keep changes after a restart or otherwise have problems with preferences, see:

At first I did not understand the posted response. But on my second visit to the the startup section in Options, I finally realized what the problem was and was able to fix it. The problem was caused by the button on the startup screen which said "Use current pages." Always before when I tried to change the startup page, I clicked "Use Current Page" (singular). I really doubt that a lot of people want to use multiple tabs at startup. Thus, this is confusing.
If you click "Use Current Page(s)" then you bookmark all open tabs. If only one tab is open then you see "Use Current Page". If more than one tab is open the you see the plural "Use Current Pages".
Note that you can also drag a tab on the toolbar Home button to set this page as the home page.
