Are emails with blank subject and 12/31/1969 date from TB or Verizon?
I have a persistent problem with messages with a blank subject and a date of 12/31/1969.
I have created a new profile and moved all my mailboxes to local folders.
The problem still occurs with the directory for my profile excluded in Windows Defender. It occurs with both windows and TB in safe mode. It occurs with only windows in safe mode. It occurs with only TB in safe mode.
Is it possible that it is not TB but Verizon that causes this problem?

It also happens with defender real time protection turned off.
Is there any way to know whether this odd behavior is a sign that should be ignored?
Does Verizon have a webmail interface where you can compare what those message look like on the server?
While dates can be a little confusing between Sent time and Received time, the subject obviously should never be blank if it exists in the webmail interface.
Does this affect all messages, or can you detect any pattern to it?
Messages with 1969 dates indicate missing Date headers, and the best way to fix it is to rebuild the Inbox. See the 7th item under "Common Problems" here:
My INBOX was empty. -- exited TB -- deleted all files under pop.verizon.net except msgfilterrules.dat. -- started TB -- using Firefox on verizon I moved a few inconsequential messages to Verizon's inbox -- in TB I clicked <get mail>
I thought that the new INBOX would not be corrupt but a blank subject message appeared in TRASH.
