By looking at your crash reports, it seems that you are crashing all over the place. Right now, I suggest that you update to version 25.0 and then do a Firefox reset as instructed below:

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions and some Preferences.

• Open websites will not be saved in Firefox versions lower than 25.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

I associate blue screen crashes with graphics driver conflicts. Try disabling Firefox's use of hardware acceleration to work around that issue.

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"

This will take effect the next time you exit and restart Firefox.

I did both of these things 10 minutes ago, however, once again firefox has crashed.

And then it blue screened and shut down right after posting the previous comment.

No change, it repeatedly crashes and shuts off and blue screens

In your original post, you had two versions of the Flash DLL. Can you make sure to disable or remove the older one? You can do that on the Add-ons page, either:

• Ctrl+Shift+a
• orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Plugins. You might also want to disable other less critical plugins for the time being.

To remove the older Flash DLL, you can find the path on the about:plugins page (type or paste about:plugins in the address bar and press Enter).

Errors reading memory may be caused by malware. As a supplement to your regular malware protection, you could run some of the scanners in the support article: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware (nearly all free).

Also, this one is known to cause crashes: Uninstall BitGuard to fix crashes with Firefox.

After doing all the above suggestions, crashing continues

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

3 days ago, I restored the computer to its factory condition and have installed Kaspersky. However, it still goes blue and both Firefox and the entire computer itself have crashed frequently.

The second of the 3 links shows that the protected mode of the Flash Player plugin is active. Please disable it following the steps in this support article from Adobe. See the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?

How long can you run Firefox in its Safe Mode? To start Firefox in Safe Mode after a crash or after exiting it normally, hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox. In the small dialog that should appear, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset).

Zip all of the files that are in your User's Firefox profile folder and move the zipped file to your desktop. If you don`t have Piriform's "Crap Cleaner" (ccleaner.exe) get it; in the "Application" tab of Crap Cleaner put a checkmark beside all 9 Firefox items. That will enable you to boot Firefox without going into Safe Mode. In the Menu under Tools, Options, General, dialogue box "Startup" select Show a Blank Page. Then under Tools, Options, Advanced, General, Browsing, UNCHECK the box so hardware acceleration will not be used. Click OK. This should solve your problem; I have 4 laptops, 2 desktops and only my brand spanking new Alienware had this BSOD problem. I even swapped out the video card twice and reseated RAM cards with no joy :( The only solution was achieved as described above. (After the fix I restored all of the files from my zipped file and still have no problem so that is good!) fwiw I believe the problem is the combo only of "hardware acceleration plus Startup option of show my windows and tabs from last time". Good luck; I'm on the road and do not have time to browse this forum but I'll try to check back in case this doesn't work for you
