Using latest Firefox beta on an Asus TF300 tablet with latest o/s update; have all but 3rd party cookies enabled. My user name isn't remembered but when I try to type in my password, Firefox tries to auto-complete the password with extra wrong characters and imo for security reasons it shouldn't be showing any completion suggestions at all.

Is everything in private data selected for clearing? If not, please select all. Another thing you can do is go to your settings then applications then to manage applications and find Firefox for Android and clear its data and cache.

I have all privacy settings checked to be cleared in Firefox. I've cleared the cache in the app settings but reluctant to clear the data before knowing what else I'll lose. Wish I knew where the profile was stored on this thing.

My apologies for not thanking you first for your response. Not having a lot of bookmarks nor extensions with the mobile version, I think I'll bite the bullet and see what clearing the app data does.

Clearing the app data in Settings cleared Firefox bookmarks, extensions, etc. as I thought it would. Still have the password entrance problem with Outlook/Hotmail.com. Not acceptable; will use the stock browser/ check out e-mail apps until I find one acceptable.
