Can you explain what you mean by you restored your PC? Did you run a Windows System Restore? Usually that won't have any direct effect on Firefox (it won't help, but it won't hurt).

Before proceeding further, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings (including Bookmarks) in case something goes wrong. See Backing up your information. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

If you prefer to reinstall Firefox 3.6, you can download it here: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older

You could install Firefox 3.6 over Firefox 4 (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.

Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.

Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

I removed junk files &other stuff removed firefox 4 then did a register edit Rebooted downloaded Firefox 3.6.17 & reinstalled Firefox I got all my bookmarks & toolbar Should have remembered if it aint broke don't fix it

I reinstalled v3.6 it works. v 4.0 sucks

Firefox 4 works really well for me (although the fonts can be a little off on Windows 7). Everyone's configuration and needs are different, so some people are going to have a hard time with their add-ons and important sites. Unless you put some energy into troubleshooting, I don't think you can fairly judge whether it sucks.
