How can I permanently delete the annoying list of "Recently Bookmarked"?

more options

I have searched everywhere on the internet to solve this problem. The most recent link I found was:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1120624

This link does not help me solve my specific problem.

All I want to do is permanently DELETE the list of "Recently Bookmarked" when I click on "BOOKMARKS" in the menu bar. Some entries in this list have so many characters (words) that Firefox expands the entire width of my laptop screen. This makes finding and clicking on other bookmarks in various folders very annoying -- you must scroll your cursor back and forth across the entire screen -- far left side to far right side -- and right side to left side.

Help!

Thank you in advance.

Right-click that menu item and select Hide Recently Bookmarked

or

1. Type about:config in the Address Bar & accept the warranty warning… 2. Type recentlyBookmarked 3. Toggle Value browser.bookmarks.showRecentlyBookmarked to false
