I am running Windows7 on a laptop

Mozilla Firefox Start Page – Mozilla Firefox

File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools Help

   Mozilla Firefox Start Page	+

< > About:home

My question is why do I have 2 Firefox start page lines? How can I get rid of one of them?

And under the Google search bar is an area that has Downloads, Bookmarks, History, Add-ons, Sync and Settings. How can I get rid of those?

Thanks

(1) When you display the classic menu bar, the page title is displayed in the window title bar above the menu bar. The page title also appears on the tab for the page. Tools > Options > Tabs > uncheck Always show the tab bar

Note that the launch bar is part of the default build-in about:home page that doesn't require internet access.
