I have done everything in the help and still get this. I have uninstalled, reinstalled. Deleted profile.

My system shut off during a refresh to cause this.

Hi tlmmrm, if a Refresh was interrupted, bad things can happen...

First, is there an Old Firefox Data folder on your desktop? If so, does it have a Firefox profile folder inside? This will have a partially random name, like "a1b2c3d4.default" and should have recently modified files inside.

Second, have you tried the suggestion to delete the profiles.ini file so that Firefox tries to rebuild the list of profiles in the normal location?

To facilitate working with your Firefox data, change these default Windows settings:

(1) Set Windows to show hidden files and folders: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files

(2) Set Windows to show common file extensions: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-show-file-extensions-in-windows/

There is a shortcut to get to your Firefox data: in the Windows search box, paste this and press Enter:

%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox

Then check out Method 2 in this article: How to run Firefox when your profile is missing or inaccessible.

Any progress for far?
