When will Norton Vault be available again on Firefox?

I would prefer to continue using Firefox, but since I depend on having Norton Vault available, I'm getting very used to using Chrome because of this Norton Vault incompatibility with Firefox problem.

Volunteers on this forum are very familiar with ongoing problems with Norton add-ons.

For now, the only way to use your vault with Firefox is to manually copy/paste your passwords. The updated Norton Toolbar released last week does not yet support the vault/Identity Safe.

Norton is promising a second update, but no time frame has been given.

As you can imagine, none of us is going to freelance with modifying your security software. The only one who can resolve this is Symantec.

I don't know whether this will work for you, but in a Norton support forum thread, several Norton Identity Safe users said that after starting Firefox, if you launch a new window (Ctrl+n or using the menu), the Norton toolbar would appear in the new window. But some users said they only got the top half of the toolbar, which obviously isn't useful. Your mileage my vary, as they say.

I would prefer to continue using Firefox, since I depend on having Norton Vault available. AND please allow us to INSTALL OLDER VERSIONS of firefox that use the vault so we can us the vault. When I try to download an older version it defaults to the new. PLEASE MOZILLA it has been 7 months now. I'm using 42 and still no Vault. thx

Hi tedd1234, there have been different issues at different times. The November 5th Norton update removed the vault from the toolbar and there isn't anything you can do from the Firefox side to work around that (older version, newer version, same issue). I think the Firefox 43 article is still the latest information:
