I have been running into this problem everytime I open up a tab trying to watch a video. If I decide to close it, no matter the video is still loading or not, it simply give no response when I click on the close button. And sometimes this tab will not close until I force FF to totally close up or will be closed after no less than three minutes.

Had tried starting up in safe mode and makes no difference.

Had tried to disable all addon in normal mode and restart - no help.

There is no problem with my homepage setting.

Please help and thanks.

PS. I almost had checked all problems related to "tabs won't close" so please don't mark my question until I select my solution. THX.

Sometimes this happens when so many opened programs are using your computer's resources at the same time making little room for other programs to execute effectively.

Try this out...

Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard

Click on task manager

On the task manager, click on Details

Run through your opened task and click on the program you want to stop

Click on End Task at the bottom of the task manager window.

Caution:

Do not end important programs running on your computer like Antivirus and others which may open your computer to threats or malfunction.
