I upgraded to 4.0.1 recently. Although the look and feel etc seem better, Large Password Manager no longer worked even by resetting link-it, or reinstalling the Password Manager and checking set-up No messages or info. Have had to go back to 3.6.8. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Robert EB

I can't find an add-on called Large Password Manager. Do you mean LastPass Password Manager by any chance? This one to be precise: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lastpass-password-manager/

It may be something to do with a security breach that that company experienced recently. See http://www.h-online.com/security/news/item/Potential-intrusion-suspected-in-LastPass-password-service-1238148.html

In any event, I would recommend that you update to 3.6.17 a.s.a.p. because there was a security breach recently at Comodo which is an SSL Provider whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were issued. These can be used to create any site including online banking and the version of Firefox you're using now will not warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates were blacklisted in 3.6.16 and above. See also: http://blogs.comodo.com/it-security/data-security/the-recent-ra-compromise/

OK. I can't see any info on their site about compatibility issues with Firefox 4, but since it's a paid for product, you could contact their support team and see what their reaction is.
