Hello: There are four(4) different e-mail accounts on my Thunderbird and asking 'New Password' in the rectangular box popping up. I changed one of my passwords(main account) by accessing my provider(Xfinity). However, when I attempted to access my e-mail. there is no e-mails and kept asking 'Password' which I typed a rectangular box popping up in the middle of the screen. Also, there is NO Thunderbird when opening-up Thunderbird. Just 'octopus' figure I can see. How to access my e-mail(one of my accounts...main account)? Thanks a help in advance.

It sounds like you have lost your profile and it is asking you to set everything up again.

The only time I am aware this image is displayed is to the right of the prompt to Set up your Existing email address, so that is at complete odds with your statement.

as a new profile will not be asking for anything.

So can you please clarify exactly what is happening? Are you being asked for passwords? Is this tab appearing and nothing else?
