I just installed TB 68.3.1 on OS X Catalina. I have two email accounts. One email address was recognized and configured automatically without any problem. The other however needs to be configured manually. After I type in all the server info and click Re-test it successfully finds the settings. Then when I click Done, a window appears with the following error message: "Error creating account. Programming bug. Assertion failed, see log." Restarting TB or even the computer didn't help. What can I do? Here is the error log:

Chosen solution

I have seen a report of this being fixed in 72b2, so it may appear in the next version in the 68 branch this month. In the meantime, try adding the account offline (File/Offline/Work Offline), and after entering your credentials, click Continue, then Advanced config. to enter the settings manually. After the account is added, go back online.

Thanks so much for the info. I ended up installing the 72b2 version and it fixes the issue. Thanks again!
