Some videos give low-pitched distorted audio?

This works okay in Chrome.

Can I ask what flavor of Linux you're using? And if you've customized your OS sound using anything similar to what's in this article? https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/advanced-audio-control-on-linux/
Running Ubuntu 18.04.3, with alsamixer and pavucontrol installed but not used, and pulseaudio-equalizer not installed.

is it using surround sound? if try stereo configuration
