I have already asked my question/given a suggestion in the topic "Fix slowness, crashing, error messages and other problems" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1266686, but had no answer.

So I decided to place the information in this topic:

'general.smoothScroll.mouseWheel.durationMaxMS 150' and 'general.smoothScroll.mouseWheel.durationMinMS 100' make scrolling much better. With the default settings Firefox UI is pretty laggy. It's very important to make browser UI smoother. Could you make this settings as default in Firefox?

Thank you!

There's really no one size fits all option when it comes to this type of setting. That's why you are able to tweak these settings in the Firefox configuration window. What you prefer may not be what others prefer, especially considering that every browser has different smooth scrolling settings.

Nevertheless, if you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

This settings are about inertia time. So it should fit everybody, not only me. Because of too large inertia time, it is more difficult to perform animation for a default 450ms without some lags. Just try lower values and see how smooth and fast scroll animation is. Especially it should be seen on low end or loaded PCs, or on pages like youtube.com(with many graphic elements).

I have laggy animation more frequently even on a pretty good PC(Intel 4570, Radeon R9-280X). With 100-150ms it is lower chance to get an animation lag.

Hi-

You might want to check out this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yass-we/

I use it, with good results.

No, with this addon there are more lags. Only "Red" mode is nearly as good as settings posted above. But anyway I have more lags on a "heavy" webpages with this addon.

OK, will use manual settings for myself, if nobody wants set them as good defaults.

Already left my feedbacks for many times. No answers and no settings apply in new versions. I'm not sure if feedbacks are read.
