Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, hold down the left button on it, and move it to where you want it to be. You can move any of the icons you want from here, but; some icons are locked in place.

There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.

Note:’’'about:customizing is no longer present in Firefox 47+ releases.

  • Press Alt or F10 to bring up the toolbar.

Then View > Toolbars > Customize.

  • Right-click on a blank spot in the toolbar and

select Customize.

When you hit Alt+PrintScreen, Window captures an image of the currently active window to the clipboard. This is not a visible thing.

To open Paint, click the Start menu button and type mspaint in the search box. Windows should suggest mspaint.exe which is the file name of the Paint program. Click that to launch Paint.

Once you see a blank white box, you can paste the image your copied and see what it looks like. Press the Esc key to fix it in place, otherwise you can move it or distort it (on purpose or accidentally).

Ok got it..so here is a screen shot of NFL.com IE11 and Firefox. See how LATEST HEADLINES is in red in IE11 and the words right below are different font than firefox? And LATEST HEADLINES on firefox browser is in blue? Trying to get NFL.com colors and fonts exact same as shown on IE11 it's much easier on my old eyes. I have tried everything. Thanks in advance.

I don't know why your Firefox is ignoring the style rule in the page that the headline link needs to be red (see attached). Do you have anything set in Firefox or in an add-on to modify link colors?

The links below it are assigned to display in your default sans-serif font. On Windows, that's usually Arial, but let's check your settings on the Options page:

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options

In the left column, click Content. On the right side, find the Advanced button and click that.

This dialog has a selector at the top for various different character sets. The ones I think are most important for English-language websites are Latin and Other writing systems so for both of those, make sure your default Sans-serif font actually is a sans-serif face like Arial and not a serif face like Times New Roman. Screenshots attached for reference.

The best thing if you want to see pages in their intended design is to let them choose their own colors. In other words, for "Override the colors specified by the page with your selections above" choose either "Only with High Contrast themes" or "Never".

Neither option worked to change latest headlines to red.

Also at nfl.com on firefox there is a scroll bar at page bottom whereas on IE11 there is no scroll bar the page fits perfect which i much prefer.

What should default font be set to and what size thanks?

Note that Latest Headlines is a link (you will see the pointer change when you hover this text).

That might be a function of the zoom level. While viewing the site, try holding down the Ctrl key and tapping the - key once to reduce it one level and see whether the content fits.

Did it get shorter at least? If the page is "too wide" even at smaller zoom sizes there may be a glitch in the layout caused by either errant style rules (like make something 120% of the width of the window) or if your zoom is set to affect Text Only in which case images can stretch the layout. To check the type of zoom, you can use the View menu, Zoom, and if there is a checkmark for Zoom Text Only, you can click to uncheck it.
