Email sent with bcc, but all names and addresses show up to recipients. What can I do to fix? Resent again, but same problem.

When I send an email out using Thunderbird to multiple recipients, I address the top line to myself, and all others as bcc. This has always worked till today, where my outgoing email and incoming one to myself showed "all" the names and addresses to all the bcc recipients. This is embarrassing and a breach in secured information. I retested it to just family members using bcc, and same result: all bcc names and addresses are showing in the header. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

could I ask you to send me a message to see for myself?

Presumably "Bcc:" me and "To:" yourself would demonstrate the effect.
