Firefox randomly (about 1 in 50 times) will freeze when accessing folder located on the Bookmarks Toolbar. The folder will expand as blank without any bookmarks in it and then FF will stop responding. I've reinstalled FF, deleted appdata/programdata FF folders, created new profile. The issue remained.

Hi dry4ng, I am sorry to hear that sometimes that when opening folders that they open blank and it causes Firefox to start to hang. When you tried a new profile and a new folder, how did you create the folder, and is it the same folder giving issues?

Over how many bookmarks are you talking? and is there anything distinctive about the folder? size, depth, type of links etc?

Hi guigs2,

After fresh reinstall I'm restoring my bookmarks from json backup file. It can happen to any folder on bookmark toolbar. I have in total about 200 bookmarks in different folders. Max depth 2 folders.

I have figured out that the freeze happens when I switch networks between wired and wireless.
