Imported bookmarks not being displayed

more options

I exported bookmarks to an HTML file from Firefox on a Win10 computer. Copied the file over to a new Win11 computer and then imported the bookmarks to a new installation of Firefox.

The bookmarks show up in the "library" that displays when I click on "manage bookmarks" but they do not appear in the toolbar at the top of the page. I don't see any way to get them to show up.

Can you tell me what I need to do? Thanks.

In the Library, there are 3 main categories shown in the left column:

  • Bookmarks Toolbar
  • Bookmarks Menu
  • Other Bookmarks (this is shown by default when you open the Library window)

You may need to move the bookmarks to the Bookmarks Toolbar yourself if Firefox didn't put them there automatically. Either drag-and-drop or cut-and-paste should work.
