"Reply all" forgets Bcc addresses when the message is archived

So, my wife uses Mozilla Thunderbird v on a Windows PC.

Her email account uses IMAP3 so she can access her mail from her cell phone, but it has limited space so we need to archive her mail on her hard drive every so often.

We've noticed a strange (and annoying) behavior. When she uses "Reply all" on a message:

  • that she has sent,
  • that is archived on the hard drive,
  • that has Bcc addresses,

said addresses don't appear in the new message.

If the original message is still in her "Sent" box, the Bcc addresses do appear quite normally in the new message.

Does anyone know if that's normal behavior, and if not, how to fix it? (I guess moving the message back to the "Sent" box would at least be worth a try, but trust me that I can't ask her to do that regularly.)

Thanks to any and all still with me, and have a nice day/evening/night wherever you are!

Oh shoot, I forgot to mention the version number: she uses Thunderbird v52.1.1.
