I have several accounts on the same client. I migrated those accounts from Eudora. All the accounts are POP and they all work OK. However, every single account has its own Trash Can. How do I erase all those Trash Cans and force all accounts to use the Trash account located underneath Local Folders? I tried to see if there is a path in about:config but there does not seem to be one. I erased all the trash files in the profiles but TB re-creates them automatically.

in server settings there is and advanced button. in the opened dialog there is an option to force the account to use local folders for all of it's mail.

Note that once set the account and it's folders will no longer be accessible in the user interface so moving the mail you want to keep first is a good idea.

Hi, tx. But that's not it. I don't want to forward everything to Local Folders, just the Trash Cans. How do I re-point the location of accounts' Trash Cans to a single Trash Can in Local Folders? The path to each Trash Can is visible through the interface, but it is not editable. If the path is visible, it has to be written down somewhere... unless... it has been hard-coded....

I mean... if this can be done with Junk folders, why can't this be done with Trash Cans?
