ABC Iview will not work on Firefox - see http://www2b.abc.net.au/tmb/Client/Message.aspx?b=98&m=27962&ps=50&dm=2
ABC's Iview facility uses Adobe Flash, and they say at http://www2b.abc.net.au/tmb/Client/Message.aspx?b=98&m=27962&ps=50&dm=2 that only Chrome will give Linux users the ability to access Iview as it has the Adobe Flash Player version 11.7 embedded within it. Does Firefox have this too? I'm using version 20.0 on Ubuntu 10.04. Hope Firefox can work out a solution! Don't want to have to use Chrome.
Warm regards,
Paul

No find iview only screens the ABCNews24 broadcast which still uses the older Adobe 11.2.202.356

Comment: need error messages easier to copy so can use them in reports - or those who know how to please read java script and decode their error messages !
A visit to : http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
shows linux flash used by Mozilla, Firefox, SeaMonkey (Flash Player 11.2 is the last supported Flash Player version for Linux. Adobe will continue to provide security updates.) so is NOT updated, no longer handles new adobe format.
Updated is Chrome (Pepper-based Flash Player) 13.0.0.214 so it handles the new adobe format.
So for most videos on iView still need use Chromium :-(
Hope MozillaFirefox people can learn how Chromium does it and achieve similar results !

Originally this problem was seen as a Flash problem only for Linux/Apple users, since is seen as wider.
Then found that Google Chromium worked fine.
Then found Firefox with ABC News24 not having same problem.
Then stehsegler ® did some digging around with Chrome... looks like the issue is a 403 - Forbidden response from Akamai. This being looked into.

To whom it may concern, this problem seems to have fixed itself!
