I'm trying to sort out all of my many bookmarks by moving them into folders. When I drag a bookmark to a folder or copy and paste one into a folder a duplicate is created. When I delete one of the duplicates the bookmark is removed from the new folder. Is there any way to move a bookmark from unsorted into a folder without making a duplicate?

Use Cut and Paste to move a bookmark or a selection (use Shift and cursor down or hold down Ctrl and left-click individual items) of more bookmarks to another folder.
Copy will copy the bookmark and create an extra copy.

Finally. An answer. Thank you, cor-el.

Also, one can right click on the bookmark and get a copy and paste in the context menu which also works. At least I can using Windows with Vista 32-bit OS.
