Is "general.useragent.extra.TBPLATFORM_NS_PH AlexaToolbar/pxabq3Gf-1.2 " a toolbar I did not ask for?
I have been invaded too often by unwanted toolbars and have managed to uninstall them so far. I noticed the above reference to AlexaToolbar after I reset Firefox. I have also tried the about:config tool to reset this entry and deleted all the history, then restarted Firefox. This process doesn't rid me of the AlexToolbar entry in the about:config tool. Is this tool a part of Firefox or can I simply delete it ??
If it is not a part of Firefox then I do want to rid myself of it !!

OK, I have discovered where this thing came from !! It is a toolbar from the "http://www.forexschoolonline.com/welcome-members.html/?ms=1346025964759". I have removed it from my Add-ons and restarted Firefox.

That is not a standard part of Firefox. It doesn't come from Mozilla.
Current Firefox version aren't using general.useragent.extra.* prefs anymore.
Firefox 3.6 versions were the last to support this way for third-party extensions/toolbars to modify the user agent.
You can reset such prefs via the right-click context menu and they are removed after a restart.
