With FFox 16.0 beta1, the items of GReader open as if the Preview script were used, as previews of the original pages, not as the text snippets as earlier. Sometimes clicking the item changes Reader with the original page. This didn't happen with Ffox 15.0.

Hi there,

I see that you have a lot of add-ons installed in Firefox. One thing you might want to try is to start Firefox with add-ons disabled (go to the menu, click Help, and then Restart with add-ons disabled) to see if it's related to one of the add-ons.

Don't worry, this isn't permanent, it's just a way to troubleshoot to see if it is the reason for your issue. If it turns out this problem goes away with add-ons disabled, then the more tricky part is to figure out which one it is. The easiest way is probably to disable them all and then enable them one by one (restarting in between) and see when it stops working. When it stops working, you know which add-on it is that is conflicting with GReader.

Thank you for your answer. However, I find it somewhat hard to believe that the problem were with the add-ons, because I had exactly the same add-ons with Ffox 15, and then GReader worked as expected.

With all due respect, if you aren't willing to follow the proffered advice when you have a problem with a pre-release version, such as the Beta, why even test a future version of will be a Firefox release at all?

You're either helping develop Firefox by using those versions, or you're "holding up the train".
