how to download firefox msi package
Hi,
I would like to install Firefox in our networked (windows 7 and windows xp) but I don't have a Firefox msi package. Can you help me where could I find one to download and push the installation for our netbooks at Zurich International School?

Excellent article, but there's nothing about the Firefox 4+ versions, which is what the "Owner" mentioned in his posting - Firefox latest please.
Frontmotion has been doing Firefox MSI packages since 2004 and if there was a problem with those packages I'm sure Mozilla wouldn't allow them to use the official Firefox branding.

If you deploy software to many PCs of other people, you shouldn't trust anybody except the software developer and yourself.
As long as Mozilla doesn't offer MSI files, I highly recommend that you create them yourself.

they have firefox 9 and it works, but there is a problem opening tabs once deployed, has any one come across this issue
Hartnegg~your link was EXTREMELY helpful! Thank you for taking the time to write it up. I tried it using Firefox v13 and it worked beautifully. In the Registry Keys section where you say to, "1.Replace all occurences of 'C:\\Program Files' with the path..." I didn't quite understand what you meant so I ignored it and imported without making any changes (English version). That also worked fine. Great write up!
