You somehow have old, outdated information in your system. Your new browser requires me to log into a facebook account I closed 10 years ago. My password for my current account named, "VangiePangie", now opens a closed account named "Evangeline Custis". I no longer have access to my VangiePangie account with any password. So, I no longer want this new upgraded Firefox account. I want to have my old Firefox account as a default on my desktop. Right now it's an icon at the bottom of the screen, and I can only use it to open one thing at a time. Please give me back my old Firefox browser. I'll struggle with Facebook to get my password to work on my VangiePangie account. I have access to the VangiePangie account right now, because it was never logged out in my old Firefox browser and is in my Bookmarks. But if I am forced to log out, or if Facebook does a security check, I won't have access ever again. Please help me with this. Below is my VangiePangie Profile pic.

How are you saving passwords? If you are using Firefox's Passwords, it should open your current FB account. The change from Firefox account to Mozilla account should make no difference as the logins are saved on your device.

I have always had my own passwords. I save them in an external hard drive.

When I received the upgraded icon, I discarded my old Firefox icon, without thinking to sync my Bookmarks. For some reason, I had to log into Facebook from the upgrade and it took me to my old, 10-year closed account in the name of Evangeline Custis, which has a profile pic that says "Account Closed", in red letters.

Then, when I tried to access my actual account, in the name of "VangiePangie". My password wouldn't work. The password somehow now belongs to an account that I closed, and if I log out, or get logged out of my VangiePangie account, I will not be able to log back in.

I had to go to the library and used their computer, to find out that I can never access my VangiePangie account if I'm logged out.

I had to open an extra browser in MS Edge, in order to create a new, 3rd Facebook account, since your new browser takes me to that closed account. But most of my Friends think it's a fake and won't friend me there, and some I cannot even contacted without my VangiePangie account, because they keep their accounts locked down tight.

At the moment, by new and old Mozilla Icons are living in the Task Bar at the bottom of my screen. When I right click on either of them, they only give me the option to unpin them. I'd like to make them a Desk Top Short-cut. But that option isn't there. I'm going to go into that 'so called' closed account and try to close it permanently. The instructions say not to try to re-open it for 30 days. After that it will be permanently closed. That way, nothing can be re-directed to it when I log in.

I'm a 75-yr-old woman, and since Covid, I don't travel to access my friends and family. I only have 12 fb Friends. I hope to never have this problem again.
