I'm using thunderbird for 3 POP email addresses (and one outlook). But I am only being allowed 2 SMTP settings For instance, I can use SMTP webmaster@billieraven.com - (server) I can use SMTP webmaster@seasidescramblers.com - (server) But if I add webmaster@utahlandsale.com, one of the first two goes away so that the webmaster@billieraven.com now shows webmaster@utahlandsale.com - (server)

This is a relatively new situation. If I log into my server and send emails directly from and to it, I receive all of them. If I send from Thunderbird right now I can't send from webmaster@billieraven.com

Did I goof something up?

Chosen solution

I suggest you view and enter edit mode for the smtp servers selected for each account. My guess is the one for utahlandsale may show incorrect email id. But check each, as they are somehow being changed.

If I am reading it right, you have four accounts: 3 POP and 1 Outlook (IMAP, I presume). That means you need to have four accounts defined in TB. With four accounts, you should be able to define four SMTP servers.

I currently have four accounts defined (4 email accounts set up, one is outlook which is not included in this issue) For the 3 POP accounts I am only allowed 2 SMTP Server settings.

the example attached shows the settings that are supposed to be for webmaster@utahlandsale.com. But they currently show webmaster@billieraven.com settings.

If I correct these settings, (to webmaster@utahlandsale.com) when I check webmaster@billieraven.com, those settings are now set to webmaster@utahlandsale.com.

In other words I can have 2 SMTP Server Settings only. Maybe I set this up incorrectly

Go to tools>account settings>account scroll down left pane to Outgoing servers (SMTP) and review the servers shown in right pane. There should be four of them. If not, create the remaining two. Then, go to tools>account settings, and for each account, review right pane and update the smtp server for that account. That is to ensure that the account uses one, and only one, smtp server and that server setting should reflect the appropriate email id. let me know how it goes.

Well, clearly I have something messed up. I did as you said, I found that there were only 3 SMTP servers (including outlook) I added the missing POP server (for utahlandsale.com). I'm attaching how that looked. Then I went back to check the SMTP servers for each of the 3 POPs updated the setting for utahlandsale.com (from billieraven.com) Went back to look at Outgoing Servers and it had changed the added utahlandsale.com server back to billieraven.com so that it now shows 2 for that server as seen below
