I have a couple of other programs that do overlay the icons and search bar. Thank you for your time.

Hi Joe, is this a Firefox add-on, or a completely separate program?

Hi jscher2000. I'm going to use e*trade and it is a stand-alone program. I have a couple of high powered drawing programs, and they completely overlay Firefox, and that gives me access to the entire computer screen, which is necessary for stock trading. This problem is kinda strange. I used e*trade, around 2008 and 2009 and had no problems then. although, I'm pretty sure I was using Explorer at that time. I had no problem filling the entire screen with the trading platform. And of course, gmail, Microsoft, and many other programs fill the whole screen.

Are there any plugins that would solve this problem? By experience with other browsers, I like Firefox the best by far. I am going to try to call e*trade support and find out if any of the trading platforms are web based.

I sure hope you have some ideas to solve this problem.

Thanks so much forgetting back to me so quicklu

Joe

Hi Joe, can you minimize your Firefox window(s) and see whether your E*Trade program can then work without interference?

Duh! I just thought about trying that while I was eating supper. I'm gonna try that in a couple of minutes.

I'll let you know how I make out,

Joe
