Installing thunderbird 64bit over 32bit?
Hello I noticed that I still use thunderbird 32bit, if I download and install over it thunderbird 64bit will it keep everything from the 32bit version? (accounts, offline folders etc)
Chosen solution
The Thunderbird program and the Thunderbird profile name folder (accounts, offline folders etc) are not stored in same location, so you can uninstall the current 32bit version and then download and install from https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/ ... where you can choose the required language and the 64 bit version for your OS.
However, I would advise that you make sure you are currently using the most up to date version before uninstalling it. Then download and install same version. As I type that is version 91.2.0
This only reinstalls the actual program and does not effect all your profile data.
