Hello Thunderbirdians,

I have an issue, since I just installed the new version of Thunderbird the email writing window freezes. Essentially, this started after I set up my HTML email signature, find below a couple of tests I did

- Email without HTML signature: Works fine - Email with HTML signature: Freezes - Email with the signature using a file: Works fine but does not load the signature

Therefore I am a bit lost as I have never had issues on the previous versions

I run Thunderbird 60.2.1 on a Dell Inspiron 13 - 5379 Series (i5, 8GB RAM DDR3, SSD 256GB - therefore I reckon it is not a hardware issue) I just got the computer less than a week ago

Please help me. PS I have no crash report

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
