Thunderbird has been working perfectly up until today (June 22). Suddenly I get the message "Thunderbird has stopped working" and am invited to either a) Check online for a solution or b) Close the program. I have done both a and b, and also Uninstalled and Reinstalled (twice) without success.

Hello Wayne

1) Yes... the problem went away when I opened *Windows* in safe mode. and also opened Thunderbird in safe mode. 2) Also no problem when I opened Windows in safe mode, and Thunderbird in normal mode. and.. 3) Lastly... when I open Windows and Thunderbird in normal mode, the problem has also gone away. So.... I think we (you) have helped me solve the problem... fingers crossed!
