Stockholm, 5 April 2018 I recently have got the wrong correspondent name for some messages in my Thunderbird "Subject - Correspondents - Date" screen. The messages themselves do not display any errors and the Reply to addresses are correct. How can I open and edit the associated msf file and correct the correspondent name? Thank you in advance for your help. With kind regards, W. Wladimiroff

Try this to repair index:

  • right click on folder in Folder Pane and select 'Properties'
  • click on 'Repair folder' button
  • click on 'OK'

Select another folder and then reselect the 'fixed' folder.
