So, you want to change your home page? does How to set the home page help? If you can try to explain a bit more clearly what you are wanting to accomplish, I can help you out here :)
See also this article about the New Tab page (about:newtab):
You can change the order of the boxes on the about:newtab page and drag them to a different position to pin them to that position or you can remove them by clicking the close X of an item to block them.
You can drag a bookmark or history item and drop them in a slot on the about:newtab page to pin them.

I tried setting up the page. All I got was add on all kinds of stuff I don't want. I want to get rid of the at&t home page. They changed it all around and I lost all my links I had set up on that page. I need a new home page hopefully one I can list my own links on. I am not computer savvy so all the things I was shown to set up made no sense to me and I still get the at&t page. The only thing I need on that page is my yahoo email link. Is there a possibility I can talk to you via phone. You could walk me through it and I would get it then.
All I want is a decent home page I can put my own links on. I don't need all these apps, I don't use them. I am not dumb about it I just do better being shown and then I get it. Thank you for getting back to me. I do hope you can help me. personal information deleted by a moderator I do have free long distance so I can call you if you prefer.

PS, I don't think I am getting up the right page on firefox to set up a home page. I am not seeing anything in the pictures in the link you sent me.
Firefox let's you enter a URL for a page, but it sounds as though you are still looking for a site that lets you customize the page the way you want.
Some people want all sorts of gadgets on their home page. Others prefer a portal with news. It sounds as though you just want links to your most used sites.
You could consider using a Firefox add-on such as the following (I haven't tried it myself):
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/super-start/
Note that you need to go into the add-on options and check a box to make it your home page. There are several similar add-ons with their own approach so if that one doesn't quite fits, you can search for more.
One of the advantages of using an add-on is you don't need to log into a website to access your list. On the other hand, it might be hard to sync your list between computers if you use more than one.
Let us know what you think.
You can also look a this site to set up a personal start page.
All I want is a simple home page for a starting point. I would like to add my own links for easier access to the places I go if that is possible, Just a simple home page. Addons are what I tried from the start. I saw nothing that would allow me to add my own links. The process in the links you sent me didn't make any sense to me. It seems to be telling me to go to every site I use and do some process to get the link on my home page. What ever happened to typing in the ink and hit add??? I am not savvy enough to follow the directions you keep sending me. I thought firefox had a calling system in place. At least that is what I read at one point but couldn't find the number. I can follow any directions given me verbally and then I get the picture. Most of what the written directions tell me, I can't find. Please let me know if you can help me via phone otherwise I will have to give up this process. It is taking days to build one home page per doing it in one phone call. Either way thank you for trying to help me via emails, I am sorry I am just not bright enough to do it on my own and unfortunately I have no one to help me. Dianne
There is no telephone support for Firefox.
Thanks anyway
