Mac user since '84.. Due to ISP 'upgrade of email server' I was forced to give up Eudora, the best email client ever made which I used since 1994, and now I'm stuck using Thunderbird, which is a clumsy piece of garbage barely better than all the other garbage email clients I tried. Now after 4 mths use, all of a sudden a T-bird "archive" holding months of important email suddenly disappeared. I can restore from Time machine but that would erase the work I spent all morning writing as well as the text and graphic files I downloaded since the last backup. Any ideas as to how I can keep this garbage application from Mozilla from erasing archived email in the future? Thanks.... T77
