Whenever I start Firefox it takes forever to load.

The blank sheet comes up with a tab, but it just sits there. It can take a couple of minutes to actually load the home page. After that it generally works fine, but that initial start is frustrating. Could it have anything to do with McAfee LiveSafe? I know this used to be an issue many years ago with Norton Antivirus.

Did you disable McAfee, reboot, and see if you still have the same issue. Did you try Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-4troubleshoot-modesf5safe-modesf Clear the browser cache. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache
