I am attempting to save this page: https://archiveofourown.org/works/27903157

With the Firefox 'save page' function, and every time I do it says the download failed. Can someone tell me what the heck is going on?

Hi, I also had the same error while saving the webpage. that is how the website functions. if you want save the page for reading later you can always bookmark the page. if you want to read offline you can screenshot the entire page. new update has screenshots under customize toolbar option. open menu -> customize... -> look for screenshot -> drag & drop in tools bar and click done. now you can save the entire website by clicking the screenshot -> entire page -> you can download it or copy it.

The strange thing is, the 'save page' function always worked perfectly before this; I'd go to a page, hit ctrl+s, and have the thing perfectly stored in the designated folder. It's just the last couple of days that it doesn't seem to be working. That makes no sense.

It also seems that it registers as a failed download, while at the same time perfectly saving the page in question. Is the update glitched, or something?

Maybe try to make the file name shorter as it looks rather long.

The thing is, I have several different stories in that category saved, not just Nestling, and I don't want any of them overwriting each other.

How in the hell is Internet goddamned Explorer better at saving pages than Firefox? How is that a thing your people are letting happen?
