Thunderbird 78.1 does not work with Mas OS 11.1. Big Sur

I just installed Mac OS 11.1 and now Thunderbird 78.1 isn't working. Is there a fix available?

It seems to be working now but for the first 8 hours nothing I tried (rebooting, reinstalling, etc) helped. But now it's working. (???) Thanks.
