Certain pages on my site have buttons or logo's that open up a pdf file or a pop-up modal. When you use Chrome, IE or Safari this all works fine. But with FireFox when you open the page all of the pdf files, or links, that are usually opened just when you click that button or logo, open all at once in a new window.

I've made all plug-ins inactive to troubleshoot it but no luck. Site is WordPress running on SiteGround. I've not had any issues up to now.

A sample webpage url is: https://etpaa.com/egps-candace/

I've spent hours trying to trying to troubleshoot this, any help appreciated. Thanks

I assume that the intended behavior is to have the PDF open in a small window embedded in the website, which is what's happening for me.

I would have actually assumed that the PDF document would have been opened in a new tab actually. This is usually the common practice for websites so that the user's settings for how to open the PDF are applied, since not every user wants to view PDFs using the builtin browser viewer. Some would rather have the PDF open with a third-party viewer like Adobe Acrobat or some alternative.

But regardless, the website works fine for me using Firefox 60.0.2 on Windows 10.

Wesley, first thanks for taking the time to reply. Your comments regarding 'common practice...' were very helpful. When I changed the button links to allow the third-party viewer they stopped all opening at once. I'm not sure why this is a FireFox only issue but I've been reminded to keep things simple. Thanks again for the response.
