I want to change the text of just part of the email outgoing message. Background is fine. I can't get the recommendation to work. from Zeno to work. After I save it, I can't find it in tools/addons

Every other email program I have used allows you to select a portion of the text and change the font color with any addons. Everyone does it.

I discovered how to do this on own. While writing a message there is a tool bar with a black and a while box on it. One controls background color and will color the entire background of the message. This was the one I was clicking on assuming both boxes were the same. Now I find that the black box controls font color and I can selectively highlight and change the color of parts of a message as I have been trying to do.

So what appears to be one icon is actually two.

That icon is pretty standard in graphics applications. It hasn't occurred to me that it required an explanation. My bad.
